Challenge: HDMI is developing a specification to drive high-definition television. The consortium needed a website to offer engineers the specification and allow them to comment on the pre-release version of the spec. In addition, the site had to project an attractive, professional, and confident image to the industry press and analysts who would also visit the site.
Solution: High-definition television is consistently touted for its sharp, bright images and vibrant colors. Thus, Cubik designed the site around HD TVs and colorful, dramatic images. Behind the scenes, Cubik built a powerful admin to manage user access to the spec, collect user data, and process user feedback.
Results: HDMI.org effectively promotes the HDMI standard. The design clearly communicates HD's main benefits, while projecting a professional and confident image. And, the site's backend allows HDMI to eaily manage user access to the spec and feedback.
